Didn’t work for me, but your mileage may vary

I purchased this device in the hope of eliminating or significantly reducing the noise emanating from my neighbor’s mutt. The offending dog is often left on the neighbor’s porch, where it harasses just regarding each living thing that passes by.

Before ordering, I had read varying accounts of it is range in terms of how close the unit ought to be to the dog in order to attain the desired effect. In my case, the neighbor’s porch is with regards to 35 to 60 feet conscious from mine. Unfortunately, this was not “too close for comfort” as far as the dog was concerned.

Having read a number of very mixed reviews of this and similar devices, I was not overly optimistic with regards to the prospect of it actually working. Alas, it did not. Some dogs just don’t listen them. In my case, it was probably due at least in share to the distance.

My suggestion is to go in front and pick up one of these widgets if and only if you are within 20′ of the target. If it doesn’t work, go in front and return it to the manufacturer for a refund (which is precisely what I did). By the way, you don’t need an RA (AKA RMA) number to return the device. Just send it to the company along with your receipt, and a note saying that you would like a refund (not an exchange).

(…) I sympathize with anybody having this problem, and wish you all the best of luck. No one deserves to have their peace and quiet bothered without good reason, and the argument that “dogs bark” plainly does not hold any water.

PEACE AT LAST!!!!! We have only had this for 4 days, but we are very happy. I ordered this because of RUDE neighbors who leave there 2 dogs(who bark and bark and…. they don’t stop) out 24/7 is a dog run outside our bedroom window. Other neigbors have complained as well, they still won’t do anything. After setting up the bark stop it didn’t take long before they got the idea, they get 1 or 2 barks out then not one thing I called the other complaining neighbor and asked if she heard the dogs “trying to bark” I told her that we purchased super bark stop and hid it, she thought that was great.( now perhaps we may take delight in a nice fall day with the windows open or working in the yard)

update 10/18 okay the real test came last night and again this morning.What was the test?? SIRENS!!! I just had to laugh, they couldn’t bark and howl!!! All I heard was this muffled grumbling coming from them. I am so glad we purchased this!!!!!

If it doesn’t annoy the dog, make it annoy the owner

I purchased this bark stop because my neighbor has a pit bull that stays out 24/7 barking, and the shared fence is in regards to 15 feet from my bedroom window. The dog barks so loud, there is no where in my house that I may retreat to for silence. I purchased this super bark stop in hopes of quieting the dog. The dog is so stupid that it barks even more when the noise starts up. So we turned the volume up so that the neighors listen it too. That’s what did it. As soon as the dog started barking and the alarm sounded, the dog was brought in. That was until the neighbor broke it with a broom stick so we are buying another one. Too bad for them.
